Lovely signed Herbert Dicksee Print - 'O for the touch of a vanished hand'. It shows a recumbent Wolfhound lying with his masters glove. The print is signed Herbert Dicksee and dedicated to Marion Meien.
Framed in a lovely carved wooden frame and set in a cream mount.
Herbert Dicksee (1862 - 1948) was an English artist renown for his paintings of dogs and etchings, particularly the deerhound. He studied at the Slade School London on a scholarship and his first painting was exhibited in 1881.
The print is in excellent condition and the frame has some abrasions which do not detract from the overall appearance.
