Pretty oil on canvas mounted on carton showing a summer landscape with hay ricks in the foreground. The painting is signed by the Belgium artist Louis Taverne (1859-1934), a well listed artist of landscapes, marines and villages.

The painting (circa 1890) is, signed, mounted in a wooden frame of the period. Both frame and painting are in good condition.
