18th century French country walnut commode having a rectangular moulded top with two inset squares with inlay bands. The piece has three large, long drawers with ring pull brass handles and pretty brass escutcheon plates. Each draw has inlay with two different veneers - possibly satinwood and boxwood. It sits on elegant carved tapered legs. It has a super warm colour and lovely patina. Its a country piece with a difference!
