Large late 18th century mahogany,  French Directoire commode with its original white marble top.  The commode has   its original brass mounts/inlay and simple handles classics handles of the period. The locks are particularly unusual with clover leaf design.  

The original marble top as carved edges and curved round the two from corners.  There are three attractive keys.  The feet have brass cappings.  The commode is in good condition and has would work in a variety of rooms and the three large drawers offer excellent storage.
