Signed oil on canvas by Walter John Stamps (1876–1964) of cattle grazing by a river in Summer. The painting is signed and mounted in an attractive gilt frame with glass. Stamps was a painter and teacher born in West Bromwich the son of a land surveyor. There is a similar painting of his in the Wycombe Museum.
