Beautiful oil on canvas of a blue and gold Macaw parrot with an arrangement of flowers and a butterfly. The painting, which is probably Dutch School, has exquisite detail and colour. The painting is mounted in a gilt frame and slip with a green velvet band. It has been lightly cleaned. There is no visible signature but there is a Christies ticket on the rear and the painting probably dates from the 19th century.
