Elegant Swedish Birchwood secrétaire with a superb patina dating from the mid 19th century. The secretaire has a beautiful interior with twelve small drawers, two larger drawers and two window shaped drawers. There is also a small cupboard/compartment. On the exterior there are three drawers below and a slender top drawer. The desk panel and the top drawer have leather escutcheons.
