Landscape by the French artist Edouard Planchais showing a view of the Vallee de la Vesubie, which is in the Alpes-Maritimes, France. The painting is in excellent condition and is mounted in an attractive wooden frame of the period.
Planchais was born in Rennes and exhibited at the Salon des Independants, Salon de la Marine, Salon d'Hiver and a member of the Societe National des Beaux Arts.
The oil on canvas dates from around 1950-1960. There is an exhibition sticker on the rear.
