Decorative 19th century French portrait of a woman with grapes in her hair. The oil on canvas is signed but it is difficult to decipher the signature. On the rear of the painting is a sale price of 16,500 French francs. There have been two small restorations which are not visible from the front. Stunning colours and tones of her red hair, grapes and background.

The painting dates from the mid to late 19th century and is mounted in a lovely antique French Montparnasse frame.
