18th Century French mahogany commode - Louis XVI - with bronze handles and escutcheons. There is also brass inlay in each of the drawers and down the legs. The commode has its original carrerra (cream) marble which has been repaired by gluing the two pieces together and inlaying two metal rods under the marble for strength as well as making it unbreakable.
