French Louis Philippe flame mahogany secrétaire with its original marble top.  The secretaire has a stunning satinwood interior and a beautiful flame and patina on the exterior.  There are six internal drawers, two secret drawers, attractive barley twist columns, an unusual ebony star and dentil cornice.

Below the desk are two doors opening two three useful drawers.  The piece wist on bun feet.  It dates from around 1840 and is in excellent condition.
