Large oil on canvas of working boats on a canal - circa 1950. The painting is in excellent condition and signed by listed Emile Lammers.
Lammers (1914- 1990) was known for his urban scenes, marines and woodland landscapes. He was a student of P Mattieu and often used simple palettes of colour - grey, blue greens and brown.
