Marie Berton was born in 1868 in Roubaix (Nord), France and was an artist sculptor and a pupil of Ferdinand Humbert. She exhibited at the Salon of French Artists since 1920 and had an honourable mention in 1928.
Berton was a member of the union of women painters.
The painting is excellent condition.
