Framed oil on board signed by Jacques Guens - Belgium School 1910-1991.
Guens was a member of the Acadamie de Bruxelles and the Institute Superieur d'Anvers at the house of Isidore Opsomer (1978-1967).
He is known for his landscapes still lifes and flower paintings. Guens paints with a generous an expressionist style.

Dictionaire Piron des Peintres Belg and Piron Dictionaire des Signatures edition 1991. Listed at auction with many paintings achieving between euro 1000 and 1750.
This is a lovely expressive and generous painting which is difficult to capture with a photo.
