Stunning French 19th century burr walnut secretaire with its original grey marble top. The piece has a beautiful patina on the front and sides and a extremely pretty writing area, again with small drawers and secret compartments. It also has four useful drawers with an elegant inlay around each of the drawers and desk panel. There are two keys and bronze escutcheons and all of the locks are in good working order.

The secretaire dates from the first half of the 19th century - circa 1830 - 1850.
