Early 19th century French Empire period mahogany commode with its original fossilised Belgium black marble top. This stunning piece has all the classic details - two columns with bronze mounts, bronze lion head drawer handles and lion feet. It has a lovely Belgium black marble top which is fossilised and has been carved to mould the columns. This piece dates from the early 19th century - circa 1810.
