Beautiful mahogany French semainier with secretair drawer and marble top. The piece has seven drawers - six of which a beautiful swan necked handles - and one which opens into a desk. It also has a secure locking mechanism on the right hand side which uses the same key as the top drawer. It has a lovely marble top, flame and patina. Inside the desk there are five smaller drawers. It dates from the early to mid nineteenth century.
