Oil on canvas painted by Marguerite Allar (1899-1974). French artist, Marguerite Aller was based in Marseille and is listed in Wikipedia, Benezit etc. She was a student of Jean Patricot and was famous for creating an academie of art, design and history of art and decoration in the Old Port of Marseille in 1946.
The oil on canvas shows an oriental scene, possibly Ouadaias a Rabat in Maroc. It is in a suberb wooden Montparnasse frame and is in good condition.
