Portrait of an elegant lady attributed to Ruth Cecil Latter (1869-1949) with an old inscription to frame verso - R LATTER MRS. The oil on panel, which dates from the late 19th/early 20th century is mounted in a 19th century gilt frame. Latter was a flower painter, landscape painter, portrait painter and pastel artist.
