Subtle oil on board signed by the Belgium artist Jean Parmentier (Brussels, 1883 - Oostkerke, 1973). He regularly frequented the studio of Ernst Franc-Garin and Paul Baum and is well known for his still lifes and landscapes.
Exhibited at the Casino of Knokke in the company of Labisse and Gendebien and at the 'Villa Roma' in 1942.
The painting is mounted in a pretty wooden frame.
Both the frame and painting are in excellent condition.
